The Avengers are just coming down from a victory, but one that cost innocent lives. They are all struggling with innocent people dying while they try to save others. A Government group headed by the Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt) feels that any loss of life other than the bad guys is wrong and he is pushing for the Avengers to all become parties to the Anti-Hero Registration Act. Under this Act, they would become subject to U.N. rules whereby the U.N. would decide when and where the Avengers should act. Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) is in favor of this act because he is tired of feeling guilty for the innocent casualties. Captain America (Chris Evans) is against the act because he does not feel that any Government should decide when and where the Avengers should strike. This causes a rift among the Avengers with Iron Man recruiting Black Pantther (Chadwick Boseman), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Vision (Paul Bettany), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Spiderman (Tom Holland) and Captain America recruiting Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). They duke it out as Captain America tries to lead his team against a new villain - Zemo (Daniel Bruhl). Iron Man and his team try to prevent them from leaving. All out war ensues, until Captain America is able to flee with Barnes. They try to foil the evil plot while the rest of Captain America's team is jailed in an isolated ocean prison. Will Iron Man see the evil that is out there or will his pride keep him from helping Captain America? Will Captain America be able to stop Zemo before it is too late?

I really liked this movie. It started with a bang and kept up the action all the way until the end. I thought there was just a little too much going on at first but eventually, it all made sense. The best scene was when all of the Avengers were facing off against each other. The action was crazy good and the humor was non-stop. Parts of this film were filmed in actual IMAX. The scenes were amazing! I loved the new Spiderman and I thought Ant-Man was hilarious. It really helps if you have seen the previous Ironman and Captain America movies. This movie just picks right up where they left off assuming the audience knows what is going on. It could be confusing if you didn't see all the prior films.  The film ends on a huge cliffhanger!! For all fans of the Avengers, go see this film! It is so fun! Stay for the credits. There is a mini-scene involving Barnes mid-way through the credits. And, there is a final scene involving Spiderman at the end of the credits. I can't wait for the next one!
