Runs 97 Minutes

British exchange student Sophie (Felicity Jones) comes to stay with an American family. Keith (Guy Pearce) and Megan (Amy Ryan) have settled into a nice life with their daughter Lauren (Mackenzie Davis).  Keith teaches music at the High School and is a substitute cellist with the esteemed Manahttan symphony.  However, once Sophie arrives, Keith becomes increasingly unhappy with his suburban life and longs for the days when he was just a struggling musician trying to make it in New York City.  Old resentments bubble to the surface of Keith and Megan's relationship with Sophie as the catalyst.

This is a pretty good movie. It is smart and realistic.  Guy Pearce and Felicity Jones provide a sober portrait of an attraction between an older man and a younger woman. The consequences of everyone's actions are also depicted in a very believeable way.  If you like arty movies, this is for you.
