Shaun (Gabrielle Union) and her two kids, Jasmine (Ajiona Alexus - who looks just like a younger Gabrielle Union) and Glover (Seth Carr) are headed out to the old family country estate to clean it up and prepare it to be sold. Shaun's estranged father has just passed away and it is up to her to take care of the estate. Only it seems that Shaun's father was not such a nice man and now a gang of thieves led by Eddie (Billy Burke) have taken Shaun's kids hostage while they try to find a safe full of money her father had hidden. The only thing they forgot to plan for was the fact that Shaun will do anything to protect her children.

This movie is not getting great reviews. I don't know what people were expecting? The Husband and I had a great time. Gabrielle Union is fierce as the Mom. She outwits these guys at every turn. Sure, the movie is fairly predictable but it is fast-paced and fun up until the bitter end. It is NOT an OSCAR movie people. It is a fun thriller. It will keep you entertained for 88 minutes. Then you can forget it. So, if you like action-packed thrills and movies where the bad guys get what they deserve, then this might be for you. Go see it.
