Runs 104 minutes

Diane (Diane Keaton), Vivian (Jane Fonda), Sharon (Candice Bergen) and Carol (Mary Steenburgen) are lifelong friends. They started a book club years ago and still meet up regularly. Things get interesting when Vivian picks Fifty Shades of Grey as their next book. They are all intrigued by the kinky book. Diane begins to assert her independence, Vivian meets up with an old flame (Don Johnson), Sharon joins Bumble (and is completely baffled by dating in 2018) and Carol thinks it is time to spice up her marriage to Bruce (Craig T. Nelson). Things go right and things go very wrong. And, some lives may be changed forever. All because of a silly book.

Nacho Kim and I laughed out loud a lot in this film. It is very funny. I liked all of the characters and I wanted everyone to end up happy. I thought it was nice to see a film with older women trying to deal with the dating scene, families, death and aging. It is a silly, fun time. Take your Mom or have a girl's night out. It can be a little raunchy in parts. In fact, I had to double-check that it was rated PG-13. Just be prepared if you are on a first date! I loved seeing Andy Garcia in a hunky role. He was so cute. Overall, the film is light and fun. Go see it.
