Lauren (Drew Barrymore) and Jim (Adam Sandler) are two single parents ready to get back in the dating pool.  They are set up on a blind date that turns bad so fast, they readily agree to never see each other again. Of course, the fates are laughing at them and they end up together with their children forced to endure an African "Blended Family" vacation. They are roomed together in a giant family suite and all of the activities, like couples massage, are geared toward romance. They begin to let their guards down and just enjoy themselves, at least so the kids can have a good time. Could these two be destined to find romance?

The critics really hated this movie. I thought it wasn't that bad. Drew Barrymore is so likeable that you can't help but root for her to find true love. And, this is definitely a step up from Adam Sandler's last movie or two. There are some really funny moments and some very touching ones, too. If you like Drew and Adam, then I would say go see it.  The film is just a simple, light-weight comedy that will make you laugh and leave you feeling happy.
