A group of rich kids with issues have been sent to a remote island for a tough-love boot camp where they will be taught survival skills in the hopes that they will learn responsibilty. They begin to learn how to fend for themselves, hike and hunt. But, suddenly the island is taken over by a group of sophisticated kidnappers led by Billy Speck (Ed Westwick) who kill all of the adults and hold the kids hostage for a billion dollar ransom. Only the kids have a little fight in them afterall and they work together to fend off the kidnappers and fight for survival.

This movie was a bit of a surprise. I didn't know anything about it so I had no expectations. I actually liked it. I thought the filming location was spectacular. The kids were all good. None of them were big name stars but they all did a good job. I recognized a few of the parents and the kidnappers and I thought everyone was good. The plot was a little predictable but highly entertaining. There was a slight twist at the end and it kept you guessing. Overall, lots of action, beautiful scenery and good-looking people in jeopardy - a decent recipe for a low budget thriller. Stupid name for a movie but I liked it. Definitely worth a matinee.
