This is Walt Disney's version of a kid's animated Super Hero movie. A fourteen year old boy, Hiro, sets out to avenge his older brother's death with the help of Baymax, a marshmallowy robot created by his brother Tadashi. He is assisted by an assortment of super nerds from his brother's college robotics class. Of course, when Tadashi created Baymax, it was to serve as a sweet and caring Health Care robot. Hiro must tweak Baymax's software and give him a crime-fighting outfit so he can serve as the muscle of their ragtag group. Together they must save the city from an evil scientist and avenge Tadashi's death.

This movie was surprisingly good. I wasn't so excited by the previews with the squishy robot Baymax, but the movie actually has a great story. Science and friendship are both important in solving the mystery. The characters are very funny and likeable. Stay until the end of the credits for a bonus scene which is probably where the sequel will pick up. Great for the slightly older kids and adults. Worth seeing.

And, since this was a Walt Disney film, there was a pre-movie cartoon called Feast. It was TERRIFIC!! It was about a dog who loved to eat! He viewed his master and his master's love life through all of their meals together. If you get a chance to see this, GO SEE IT!!
