Samantha Kingston (Zoey Deutch) is a popular girl with lots of friends and a hot boyfriend Rob (Kian Lawley). It is Cupid Day and she and her besties Lindsay (Halston Sage), Elody (Medalion Rahimi) and Ally (Cynthy Wu) have big plans to attend a party that night. They are excited to be with their friends and enjoy the end of their senior year. Only, a tragic event on the way home places Samantha in a never-ending loop of reliving that fateful day. Can Samantha untangle the mystery surrounding her death and maybe set some things right before she runs out of time?

This movie is based on a popular YA novel. The cast is talented and attractive. The premise isn't bad and the acting is fine. I just thought the whole movie was a little blah. There are some good messages about friendship and bullying. I just thought it felt slow and the revelatons weren't all that surprising. If you are a fan of the book, then you might want to see it. Otherwise, maybe a cheap matinee?
