Runs 121 minutes

Based on a true story, this film depicts the epic 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King (Emma Stone), the number one ladies tennis player at the time and Bobby Riggs (Steve Carrell) a former tennis star and big time male chauvinist hustler.

This is a very entertaining film and Emma  and Steve are great in their roles. This was at a time when Billie Jean King was discovering her sexuality so her affair with her hair dresser (Andrea Riseborough) plays a front and center role. And, she was married at the time. It was a little uncomfortable but the rest of the film was fun. Billie Jean King was instrumental in getting equal pay for women on the tennis circuit. It was hilarious listening to the men's comments about women in 1973. Anyway, you may remember how the match turns out but it is fun watching it again. Go see it!
