Miles Scott was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 18 months old. For 3 years he battled through chemo and other treatments. Eventually, he beat the disease into remission. At that point, he is granted his wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation - to be his favorite superhero, Batman, for a day. This movie follows the granting of Mile's wish and how it brought the world together for a day through the use of social media and the kindness and generosity of a lot of people.

This is a sweet and uplifting movie. We never really see Miles (who is adorable) when he is at his sickest. This movie focuses more on the positive - that he is in remission and that he is going to be Batman for a day. Make-A-Wish pulled out all of the stops. They turned San Francisco into Gotham. Miles, as Batkid, was able to foil several evil plots and ride in the Batmobile. It was overwhelming to see the number of people who turned out just to cheer Miles as he rode around the city. If you want to see a happy, feel-good, true story, this might be for you. Go see it.
