Scott Lang/Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) is on house arrest following the events of Captain America: Civil War. He plays crazy games with his daughter Cassie (Abby Ryder Fortson) and works with the guys at X-Con Security company to keep himself busy. Meanwhile, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and his daughter Hope Van Dyne/Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) have been working on a quantum tunnel. They think that they have figured out a way to rescue Hope's mother Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) who has been lost in the quantum ether for over 20 years. But, it appears that Sonny Burch (Walter Goggins) wants their lab for his own nefarious purposes. And, Ava/Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) has her own reasons for needing access to the quantum tunnel. So, Ant-man and Wasp must put aside their differences and work as a team again to try to save Janet (all while Scott is wearing an ankle monitor and the FBI is hot on their trail). Will they be able to rescue hope's Mother in time?

I loved this movie. It is hilarious and action-packed. I thought it was every bit as good as the first one. Paul Rudd was born to play this role. He is perfect - he can be sympathetic and sarcastic at the same time. Evangeline Lilly has really grown into her role as Wasp. She and Ant-man have a great connection. And, Michael Pena is HILARIOUS as the head of the X-Con Security company. He just wants to be in on the action so bad. The funniest scene is when he gets injected with truth serum. OMG - he is just great! The chase scenes are so good as the cars shrink down and get large again. There are so many funny scenes. Anyway, I loved it. Go see it! And, stay for the after credit scenes, one during the credits and one at the bitter end of the credits. These help tie in the film to the Avengers series overall. Go!!
