Paul Rudd is Scott Lang, a "cat-burglar" serving time in San Quentin, who is recruited by Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) to become Ant-man. Scott Lang discovered some shady dealings where investors were fleeced of some of their earnings. He was sent to prison when he took the company's money and wired it back to the investors who were short-changed. Pym was so impressed with his sense of justice, he recruited him to help save mankind from a new kind of weapon being developed by his mentee, Darren Cross (Corey Stoll). Pym's daughter Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) is trying to help by staying close to Cross. Pym needs Ant-Man to pull off the heist of the century to save the world from Darren Cross's evil intentions.

This movie is definitely entertaining and good for the whole family. It was funny and fast paced. I got a little creeped out by all of the ants roaming around, but the special effects were amazing. Paul Rudd was well cast in thie role. He filled out the Ant suit quite well and was pretty humorous, too. Corey Stoll made a great business man/evil villian. I didn't think Evangeline Lilly had quite enough to do, but if you stay through all of the credits, you will see two scenes which preview what is yet to come in future installments. And, I loved the references to the Avengers and Ironman. (With a fun cameo by Anthony Mackie/Falcon). Take the kids and go see it!
