Runs 105 minutes

This is a movie about a military contractor Brian Gilcrest (Bradley Cooper) who is re-hired by an old boss to travel to Hawaii to oversee the launch of a weapons satellite. Of course, he has a tangled history waiting for him when he arrives. Years before he abruptly ended a relationship with Tracy Woodside (Rachel McAdams). She is now married to John "Woody" Woodside and thinks she has moved on from Brian. The only problem is that lately Woody has been very remote. Meanwhile, Brian has been assigned a military liason to watch over him during this project. Allison Ng (Emma Stone) is a hard-charging straight shooter. Soon, Brian is involved in the lives of these two women. He has reconnected with his old flame but realizes that she and Woody just need a little push to get back on the right course. But, who will give him the push to recognize what he is feeling for Allison. Will he realize before it is too late and he walks out on another relationship?

I love everyone in this movie. Everyone looks great and Hawaii is beautiful. But, I wanted more form this movie. The script seems just a little lame. It is cute and funny. It just isn't very deep or involving. I walked out just a little disappointed. If you like the cast, it is definitely worth at least a matinee, but don't expect too much. Just a lightly entertaining movie that you will forget as soon as you leave the theater.
