Runs 90 minutes

Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan) is a smug morning radio host in small town Norfolk. The station where he works has been bought by a large conglomerate and they are in the process of stream-lining.  Alan helps throw his colleague Pat (Colm Meaney) under the bus. Of Course, Pat comes unglued and takes the station hostage to try to get his job back. Alan becomes the go between to try to help the police while also ingratiating himself with the new management in order to further his career.

This movie is much funnier than I expected. There are lots of throw away lines and sight gags that just have you laughing. Steve Coogan is hilarious. Apparently, this is a character that he has developed over time, but whether you have seen him as Alan Partridge before or not, it doesn't matter. Just enjoy this lightweight comedy and have a good laugh.
