Jessica Burns (Lexi Ainsworth) is a pretty and smart high school student with a big secret. She is being bullied by her former friend, the beautiful and popular Avery Keller (Hunter King). They both attend South Brookdale High School, a good school. In fact, the school has just been selected as one of the top schools in the country. Jessica is at the end of her rope. She enlists the help of her best friend Brian Slater (Jimmy Bennett) to make a record of the abuse she is receiving from Avery. At the same time, a documentary film crew has arrived to follow the students at this top school. Soon the evidence of Avery's abuse is clearly caprtured and the girls and both of their families are forced to confront the repercussions of this terrible bullying.

This is a very intense film. It is filmed in a documentary style and it feels like you are watching real events. Both of the girls, Lexi and Hunter, are terrific. You can't take your eyes off of them. The subject matter is really tough to watch and the language is much stronger than a normal PG-13 movie (but I think they wanted to keep the rating PG-13 so the movie would be accessible to high school students). With texting and facebook, there is no escaping tormentors today. I think this is an important film and it is very well done. A must see, especially for today's teens. Go!
